Our professional trainers will commit their time to providing you with thoughtful coaching and feedback geared towards helping you to play an integral role in working to teach your dog new skills. Private lessons are a great fit for owners who have the time and patience to invest in every part of the process of creating behavior change, including troubleshooting! Private lesson clients MUST be self-motivated and receptive to our encouragement to reach out to their trainers as they work with their dogs, in order to see the best results. This program is NOT a good fit for dogs that have behavioral issues, but can be effective for owners of dogs who are stable in their overall behavior, and just need some fine-tuning to get on the same page as their owners. Lessons take place throughout the county, and are unique to the goals and challenges you are currently experiencing as a handler to your dog. After each lesson, trainers will leave teams with 'homework' in the form of a set of goals for both human and canine to have gained comfortability and proficiency in before scheduling the next lesson. Lessons are paced with the progress that you make, so the results you should expect to see are directly influenced by the amount of patience, effort, and practice that you put into them!
